Actually, though I am the main DM I have two co-DM’s who have helped shape the campaign world since the mid-90’s when it started. But for a variety of reasons (conversion 1e -> 3.5e being one of them), I held the chair continuously for the past two years.

This is now changing - since concluding the Falcon series, one of the other DM’s who has been absent from the table for a while has returned to the fold and is now back running his storyline from where we’d left off. So I get to enjoy the simple pleasure of just playing one character, something I’d really missed.

The third DM is now starting to show signs of wanting to referee some bits and pieces as well, which is good.

I also have a plan to let one of our newer players have a turn in the driving seat sometime in the not-too-distant.

Btw I hope you’ll find a way to inspire some dm-greatness in the other players, since you don’t seem to happy about the fact that you’re sitting at the head of the table. It’s best to share this place, improves fun for everyone and get’s you all to improve as players and dungeon masters alike.
